Cataloging Cultural Objects (CCO) is a data content standards initiative for the cultural heritage community. CCO web resources include cataloging examples, training tools and presentations for use by practitioners, in addition to excerpts from the CCO print publication. Sponsored by the Visual Resources Association Foundation, CCO activities center on educational efforts to promote widespread acceptance of cataloging best practices for the visual resources, museum, library, and archival communities.
The purpose of the SEI is to provide information professionals with valuable training and education in the area of visual resources and image management. Under the direction of the Executive Boards of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) and the Visual Resources Association Foundation (VRAF), the Implementation Team (IT) is charged as the management group for the Summer Educational Institute (SEI) providing or coordinating administration, local arrangements, registration, scheduling, fundraising, publicity, curriculum, instruction and teaching materials.

The Visual Resources Association Foundation (VRAF) awards the 2016-2017 the Samuel H. Kress Foundation funded internship award to Rebecca Pattillo who will work at the Indianapolis Museum of Art with the Clowes Fund Collection under the direction of Tascha Horowitz, Manager of Photography, and other colleagues.
